Jim holds a Biology degree from Arkansas State University and a Pharmacy degree from NLU (now ULM), which he received in 1977. His background includes hospital and retail pharmacy, compounding, IV infusions and pharmacy management. He has a special interest in preventive healthcare and in complimentary and alternative therapies.
Outside of his profession, Jim enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with his family. He and his wife have been married since 1980 and have two daughters, a son-in-law and one grandson.
